3/4 cup Diana Marinade Steak Spice
2 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
4 boneless beef strip loin steaks (1 lb./450 g)
1/4 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. (450 g) fresh asparagus spears, blanched
1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges

How do I make it ?
Mix steak spice and Worcestershire sauce until blended. Pour 2/3 of the steak spice mixture over steaks in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat both sides of steaks with steak spice mixture. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate, turning steaks after 15 min.
Meanwhile, cook butter, garlic and remaining steak spice mixture in saucepan on medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally. Keep warm.
Heat barbecue to medium heat. Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade. Reserve half the butter mixture for later use. Grill steaks 10 min. or until medium doneness (160ºF), turning and brushing with remaining butter mixture after 5 min. Remove steaks from barbecue; let stand 5 min.
Meanwhile, place asparagus on large sheet of heavy-duty foil sprayed with cooking spray; brush with remaining butter mixture. Fold foil to make packet; place on top rack of barbecue. Grill 5 min.
Remove foil packet from barbecue. Cut slits in foil to release steam before carefully opening packet. Serve steaks with asparagus and lemon wedges.

How to Blanch the Asparagus
Add asparagus spears to large pan of boiling water; cook 2 to 3 min. or until asparagus is bright green in colour. Drain asparagus, then immediately plunge it into bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. When completely cool, drain the asparagus, then pat it dry.
