This easy scalloped potato recipe has the exact same flavour combination as your favourite baked mac & cheese (including the crispy top) but with a potato twist. The best part? No need to make a complicated white sauce--just mix the ingredients and bake! Try this twist on scalloped potatoes for your next family reunion, holiday gathering, potluck or Sunday dinner.

2 cans (10 fl oz/284 mL each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp. Heinz Dijon Mustard
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
3 lb. (1.4 kg) baking potatoes (about 6 medium), peeled, thinly sliced
1 large onion, sliced, separated into rings
3 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs

Step 1
Heat oven to 400ºF.
Step 2
Mix first 5 ingredients until blended. Combine potatoes and onions in large bowl. Add soup mixture; mix lightly.
Step 3
Layer half each of the potato mixture and cheese in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with remaining potato mixture; cover.
Step 4
Bake 1 hour 15 min. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, then bread crumbs. Bake, uncovered, 30 min. or until potatoes are tender and crumb topping is golden brown.
