1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. smoked paprika
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion salt
4 lb. (1.8 kg) pork spareribs
1/2 cup Heinz Chili Sauce
1/2 cup Heinz Carolina Style Tangy Vinegar BBQ Sauce
zest and juice from 1 lime

How do I make it ?

Step 1
Heat oven to 300ºF.
Step 2
Combine sugar, paprika, garlic powder and onion salt; rub evenly onto both sides of ribs. Place in roasting pan sprayed with cooking spray; cover.
Step 3
Bake 2 hours or until ribs are tender.
Step 4
Heat barbecue to medium heat. Mix chili sauce, barbecue sauce, lime zest and lime juice until blended.
Step 5
Transfer ribs from pan to barbecue grate. Grill 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with chili sauce mixture.

Cooking Know-How
Ribs have a thin "silver skin" membrane on the bone side that should be removed before cooking. This allows the seasonings to best flavour the meat.
Special Extra
Garnish with sliced green onions, fresh parsley and halved additional limes before serving.
Use Your Barbecue
The easiest way to keep your barbecue clean is to scrub the grates with a wire brush immediately after using it. This will also help to keep the food from sticking to the grate the next time you use your barbecue.
