1 cup water
2/3 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. Minit Tapioca
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
6 cups thinly sliced peeled Granny Smith apples
1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Old Cheddar Cheese, divided
3/4 cup flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 cup cold butter
3 Tbsp. milk

Step 1
Heat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Combine first 5 ingredients in large saucepan. Stir in apples. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour into 8-inch square baking dish; sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
Step 3
Mix flour, 2 Tbsp. sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and remaining cheese; stir until mixture forms soft dough. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto hot apple mixture.
Step 4
Bake 25 min. or until biscuits are golden brown.
