This tasty Black Bean-Minestrone Soup delivers a lot of hearty ingredients in a single bowl, including ham, loads of veggies and cheesy pasta.

2 cans (19 fl oz/540 mL each) black beans, rinsed
1 carton (900 mL) 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
1 can (28 fl oz/796 mL) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 each: onion, zucchini and celery stalk, chopped
1 carrot, peeled, chopped
1 pkg. (170 g) ham steak, chopped
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 cup water
1 pkg. (225 g) Kraft Dinner Macaroni and Cheese, divided
2 cups tightly packed fresh spinach
1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese

How do I make it ?
Combine beans, chicken broth, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, celery, carrots, ham and cayenne pepper in Dutch oven or stockpot. Bring to boil on medium-high heat; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min. or until vegetables are softened.
Add water and Macaroni; stir. Cook 7 to 8 min. or until Macaroni is tender.
Stir in Cheese Sauce Mix and spinach; cook 2 min. or just until spinach is wilted, stirring occasionally. Serve topped with Parmesan.

How to Thin the Soup
This soup will thicken as it stands. Thin with additional chicken broth or water just before serving, if desired.
Serve with saltine crackers.
Substitute chopped Swiss chard for the spinach.
