2 cups flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, cubed
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup plus 3 Tbsp. maple syrup, divided
1/2 cup icing sugar

How do I make it ?
Heat oven to 425ºF.
Combine first 3 ingredients in large bowl. Cut in cream cheese with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in raisins and nuts. Mix milk and 1/4 cup maple syrup until blended. Add to flour mixture; stir until mixture forms soft dough.
Pat dough into 9x6-inch rectangle on floured surface; cut into 3 crosswise strips. Cut each strip crosswise in half, then cut each square diagonally in half. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack; cool 15 min.
Mix remaining maple syrup and icing sugar until blended; drizzle over scones.

Scones can be prepared ahead of time. Cool completely, then freeze in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
For best results, prepare using only the regular (not light) variety of cream cheese since dough prepared with the light cream cheese spread tends to produce lumpy biscuits.
For stronger more maple flavour, add 1/4 tsp. maple extract to the glaze before drizzling over scones.
