Greet the changing seasons with these easy-to-make Pumpkin Spice Pudding Cookies. The vanilla pudding adds special richness to the cookies and the pumpkin pie spice takes an ordinary chocolate chip cookie to a new level. It's sure to be a hit after a day at the pumpkin patch!

2-1/4 cups flour
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. (300 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Step 1
Heat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Combine flour, dry pudding mix, baking soda and pumpkin pie spice. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Add eggs; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 3
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.
Step 4
Bake 8 to 10 min. or until edges of cookies are golden brown. Cool 3 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Prepare dough as directed; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake in 375°F oven 20 to 25 min. or until edges are golden brown. Cool before cutting into bars. Makes 24 servings.
Special Extra
Bake and cool cookies as directed. Melt additional chocolate chips as direced on package; drizzle over cookies. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
