4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
2-1/3 cups all-purpose baking mix
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping

How do I make it ?
Heat oven to 425°F.
Toss strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar.
Stir baking mix, milk, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter in large bowl until mixture forms soft dough. Drop into 8 mounds, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely.
Split shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and Cool Whip.

For a more decadent dessert, add 6 squares chopped Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate to the shortcake dough before baking. Assemble desserts as directed, then drizzle with your favourite chocolate sauce just before serving.
